handcraft is not laundry-machine energy. give your KALESHI a slow life and it will live a long one.

• Embroidery (kadhai) — cold hand wash, mild soap, no scrub. dry inside-out, flat, in shade.
• Hand-paint — first wash separate, cold water, no detergent for the first three washes. iron only on reverse.
• Crochet — hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. never wring. it remembers shapes.
• Mixed media — treat as the most delicate craft on the piece. when in doubt: dry-clean.
